Err… I think I’ve answered this before…. anyway, it’s precisely because of his family name “Okamoto”…
Okamoto when written in kanji is「岡本」 and in hiragana「おかもと」. The Japanese fans has given him the nickname 「かもくん」or “Kamo-kun” in romaji. And 「かも」”kamo” meaning “duck”, and 「かもくん」roughly translates to “Ducky”.
Well, after that winding explanation, I hope you get it. lol Sorry if I can’t explain it in a more straightforward way OTL
Anyway here, have a random Ducky GIF to make up for it lol

Okamoto Nobuhiko going from serious stare to cute and flirty wink while hugging Toriumi Kousuke.
Okay, these are the links to all the seiyuu random info I have answered. I’ll update this regularly to add everything I’ll ever answer to this post, and I’ll put a shortcut to this post on my blog’s side bar for easier access, so please check this first before sending an ask about a particular seiyuu, I might have answered about them already. >A<)b and And it’s in alphabetical order, to make things easier.
#I was tempted to make Issa's joke the title of this post GFDI ISSA
A “do-S" or "ドS" is a person who’s really sadistic, a super sadist. And in reverse, a "do-M" or "ドM" is a super masochist. It’s used to describe those kinds of people/character, not just for seiyuus. Well… I hope that explains it… >w<)v
And to give examples, in the seiyuu world, this one is the king of the all the do-S, Yusa Kouji:
And this one is a well-known do-M, Okamoto Nobuhiko:
Also, great to hear that you guys like my posts >A<)b
And LOL now that, is quite the question. LOL
My favorite do-S seiyuu would be of course, hands down, non other than the king of all do-S in the seiyuu world, Yusa Kouji.
Because, as I’ve discussed before, he really is super do-S. LOL Even Beh-sama bow down to him at that.
And as for the do-M one… For some reason, I find Ducky really, really, really cute! And the way his senpai always throws him around and he just accepts the fact he’s always gonna be bullied LOL.
Like that one time in Otomate party where he was getting “kicked around” by his senpais:
And when he ran to tell the one of the hosts, Show-chan, that he was getting bullied, Show-chan just told him to go back to his seat and he grudgingly did. LOL
Eeeeeehhhh?!?! This time, Ducky eh? Oh well…
Hello Anon…. I’m very, very sorry for the late reply (I lost connection last night OTL)
Anyway, Okamoto Nobuhiko’s nickname is “Ducky” for English-speaking fans and “Kamo-kun” for the Japanese ones because “かも” is “duck” in Japanese…
Well… I hope I answered your question… correctly… OAO;;;
Here, have some Ducky! >A<
